On 16/12/2020, Elaraki school's TED-Ed club held its first TED-Ed student Talks Showcase Event, which focused on passions and ideas. During the event, our students had the opportunity to share their groundbreaking ideas and their scintillating passions in the form of short, TED-style talks.
We kicked off our event with a video introduction of our keynote speaker and a musical performance. Then we began to shift to the more internal aspects of the event.
The keynote speaker was Sofia Labiad, a solo traveler and an aspiring globetrotter. Ms. Sofia spoke about her passion for traveling and social justice as well as the way she came to love something that she once dreaded. Her speech was truly inspirational.
Many thanks to the TED-Ed club participants, facilitators, and club leader Mr. Hossam Souhaili for planning and organizing the event.
